It’s that time of year again and the 2011 MA Design is Human week is coming soon! Join Architecture for Humanity Atlanta and the city’s hippest art and design professionals, supporters and groupies for a full week of awesome activities.  Currently we are helping our friends at MA recruit the incredible volunteers that make this event happen.  Signing up to volunteer grants you access as an MA insider and the opportunity to network with Atlanta’s emerging design scene at some of the year’s most notable events. 

It’s a win/win so please email stine@modern-atlanta.org if you are interested in volunteering.  They need firm commitments of  two days/homes/events during the week.  A full list of events is available on the Modern Atlanta website, MA 2011.

Modern Atlanta is back! MA10 Design is Human kicks off tomorrow night at White Provision! Not only will you be able to mix and mingle with some of the best and brightest of modern in atlanta, you can see us! Come visit the AfH Atlanta table at the Launch Party, Tuesday, June 1st from 8 to10:30 pm at White Provision.  We’re excited about reaching out to all of the amazing design talent as we head into our final month of the Oasis project.  The Launch Party is also serving as our official announcement for the 2nd annual Birdhouse Social + Silent Auction taking place in August.  And, don’t forget your tickets to the Home Tour on June 5th and 6th.  We have an army of volunteers acting as docents in the homes.
