It’s official, DINE Like You Give A DAMN 2012 was a great success! We could not have pulled off such a great event in a new format without all of you and your kind words of support behind us. Thank you to all that purchased a ticket, supported us as a Humanitarian Design Partner, participated on the panel and volunteered for the event. We would not be where we are today if you didn’t “give a damn!”

DINE Like You Give a DAMN 2012!

AFHA is here because of you! We would not be the organization we are today without the financial support of individuals like yourself. As we continue to marry awareness building for architecture and design with community activism, your investment in our activities is more important than ever. “Dine Like You Give a Damn” 2012 will feature an evening of sustainable education including tours of the Southface Eco Office and a live panel presentation with Q&A about Passive House design led by Jeff Dinkle of Eco Custom Homes. The evening will be complemented by a delicious buffet dinner, drinks and door prizes. You will also have the chance to meet the “Humanitarian Design Partners,” that have committed to support not only this event but our mission and projects throughout 2012.

Dine Like You Give a Damn!

Last Wednesday night, we hosted 65 of our closest friends, supporters and volunteers for ”Dine Like You Give a Damn!” at Radial Cafe. To quote Board member Andrew Telker ”there was energy pouring out of the Rafters.” And considering we were only expecting 54 people, that wasn’t the only thing pouring out of the rafters! The room was filled with tons of smiles, lots of excitement and a bounty of love and support for our continued efforts here in Atlanta. It was a true delight to experience each guests curiosity about what we’re doing and how they can help.
